Origin: Endemic bamboo reported from Palawan
Uses: Well known to all Filipino woodsmen as a source of drinking water, secured from the internodes. Making baskets and chairs.
Propagation: Culms and Rhizome cuttings.
Rhizome Type: Clump-forming, with sprawling & scandent stems.
Culms: 20-25m tall and 3cm in diameter
